The Creekside Art Docent program is a volunteer-led and PTSA-funded program designed to support the state of Washington's Visual Arts Grade Level Expectations by bringing art into the classrooms.

Our program focuses on introducing a variety of art conceptsmediums, and artists while providing an opportunity to learn through exploration. Students gain essential experience being creative in an open-ended environment.

It takes a village!

We are always looking for volunteers for this program! Volunteers get to enjoy working in their child's classroom doing one of the things they love most - creating art. Whether you have no experience with art or teaching -OR- if you are an art fanatic with lots to share, we would love your help.  We provide the projects, lessons, supplies, and community to help make this as stress-free and fun as possible.

Two step process to sign up:

1) Contact Nicole Le if interested.

2) Fill out the ISD Volunteer Application
You must be approved by ISD before you are allowed in the school to volunteer.  It can take up to 1 - 6 weeks to get approved.

The PTSA is the school's Parent Teacher Student Association. We are a registered not-for-profit comprised of parent volunteers, just like you, who help provide many programs and events at Creekside.
