Scheduling is a collaborative effort between the Grade Level Leads, Classroom Leads, and Teachers, working together to schedule which lessons will be taught, when they will be taught, and where they will be taught.

Grade Level Leads

Grade Level Leads are responsible for ensuring the lessons (projects) are agreed upon across the grade level and that there are enough resources/supplies for each classroom in their grade level.

  1. Once you have confirmed which 6 Art Lessons will be taught to all classes in your grade, add the Art Project titles for each month in the Art Docent Schedule, under the tab for your grade level. Please also remember to list all the supplies needed for each project.
  2. Enter the dates for any scheduled training under the row titled, "Grade Level Docent Project Training Dates.

Classroom Leads

Classroom Leads are responsible for scheduling art lessons with their teacher.  The teacher will request the Flex Pods if necessary.  Optimally, set up all the monthly art lessons at the start of the school year.

  1. Talk to your teacher and set the class date and time for each month.
  2. Enter your schedule for each month and art project on the Art Docent Schedule.
If there is already a class going on at the same time as you wanted to schedule, talk with that classroom lead and your teacher to see whose date and time can be moved.

The PTSA is the school's Parent Teacher Student Association. We are a registered not-for-profit comprised of parent volunteers, just like you, who help provide many programs and events at Creekside.
