Nominations for Golden Acorn or Outstanding Educator Awards

It’s that time of year!  We want to recognize Creekside's fantastic volunteers and educators. You have admired their dedication - now is your chance to recognize them!  There is no better compliment than getting recognized by your peers.

THE GOLDEN ACORN AWARD - Each year the Creekside PTSA gives the Golden Acorn Award to someone who has provided exemplary service to children in our school community.  This award is for PTSA volunteers who go above and beyond to support the students and school.   The Golden Acorn Award is very special and is reserved for those committed to continuing and dedicated service. It recognizes service “above and beyond” a particular job description. The first Golden Acorn Award was presented in 1937 and is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a volunteer.   We do encourage the Creekside community to nominate current PTSA members.

OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AWARD - The Outstanding Educator Award was created to recognize individuals who have provided outstanding educational opportunities for children and youth beyond the normal scope of their jobs.  An Outstanding Educator can be a teacher, specialist, assistant, support staff, custodian, bus driver, administrator or community member.

To nominate someone (or more than one person), click on the following links and complete the VERY short survey. Deadline is Friday, April 12.
